The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) lifted GRAP Stage 3 restrictions in Delhi-NCR after pollution levels showed improvement. On Sunday, Delhi's AQI dropped to 335 by evening, prompting the rollback. However, measures under GRAP Stages 1 and 2 remain active to prevent further deterioration. With the relaxation, BS-III petrol and BS-IV diesel vehicles can operate, and bans on non-essential construction and demolition activities are eased. Forecasts from the India Meteorological Department predict AQI will stay in the 'poor' range (200-300). The CAQM emphasized strict monitoring of Stages 1 and 2 to sustain better air quality.
