A thick fog blanketed North India on Friday, disrupting travel and intensifying a severe cold wave. Delhi saw over 60 flights delayed, six cancelled, and 193 arrivals impacted. Train services were also hit, with 24 trains running late by up to 4.5 hours. In Punjab, fog-induced collisions injured 20-25 passengers. Noida closed schools, while Patna adjusted timings amid temperatures dropping to 6°C. Rajasthan recorded 3.6°C in Fatehpur, Sikar district. Authorities issued warnings for dense fog and freezing conditions across Delhi, Haryana, UP, Punjab, and Bihar, urging precautions.
