Srinagar hit -8.5°C, its coldest December night in 50 years. Water bodies and pipes froze in many areas. Himachal’s Tabo saw -11.6°C, with warnings for dense fog in some regions. Delhi’s air worsened to 'severe,' with a slight rise in temperatures. Rajasthan also shivered, with Karauli at 4.5°C. Light rain is expected in Delhi. The weather has disrupted water supplies and hydropower generation in many places. Authorities are on alert to tackle the harsh conditions.
