7 Indians were injured in a car-ramming attack at a Christmas market in Magdeburg, Germany, killing five and injuring 205. Three Indians have been discharged from hospital, and the Indian Embassy is assisting the injured and their families. The Ministry of External Affairs condemned the "senseless attack," offering prayers for the victims. The suspect, Taleb al-Abdulmohsen, a Saudi atheist, held anti-Islamic and anti-migrant views. He drove an SUV into the crowded market, causing mass casualties. German leaders, including Chancellor Olaf Scholz, called the attack "terrible." The Christmas market has been shut down as a mark of respect for the victims.
