The sequel to the 2021 hit has already earned ₹1,508 crore globally but faced challenges, including a temporary halt of screenings in North Indian theatres due to disputes with PVR INOX. The issue was later resolved. Meanwhile, Allu Arjun was recently arrested in connection with a woman’s death at a theatre event. He was granted interim bail. Despite piracy and controversies, the film continues to break records, becoming the highest-grossing Hindi-language film with ₹600 crore earnings in two weeks.
