Ranbir Kapoor has confirmed that his hit film Animal will be part of a trilogy. Speaking at the Red Sea Film Festival, he shared that the second part, titled Animal Park, is in development, with filming expected to begin in 2027. Ranbir revealed the story will evolve, and he will play both the protagonist and antagonist in the sequels. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal was released in December 2023 and earned over ₹900 crores. Despite its success, the film faced criticism for its portrayal of toxic relationships. Ranbir also recently completed shooting for Ramayana and has more projects lined up.
