Torrential rains and winds of up to 82mph left homes flooded, roads submerged, and caused widespread disruption. South Wales saw major flooding, with up to 300 properties affected. Two fatalities were reported, including a missing man in North Wales. Travel disruptions persist, with rail services cancelled and major roads closed. Authorities warn of further delays as clean-up efforts are hindered by continuing rainfall. Around 350,000 homes lost power, but most have now been reconnected.
