Storm Bert, the second named storm of the season, is set to hit the UK this weekend, bringing a "multi-hazard event" of heavy snow, rain, and winds up to 70mph. The Met Office has issued several yellow warnings for wind, rain, and snow across various regions. Parts of southern and western UK are expected to receive 50-75 mm of rain, while Wales and southwest England could see over 100mm. A yellow warning for coastal areas is in place, while snow and a rapid thaw will impact northern regions.
