India has condemned an attack on Brampton’s Hindu Sabha Temple by pro-Khalistan protesters, calling on Canada to ensure better protection for religious sites. "We call on the Government of Canada to ensure that all places of worship are protected from such attacks," said Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randir Jaiswal. The clash, involving protesters carrying Khalistani flags, has raised concerns about the safety of Indian nationals in Canada. "We remain deeply concerned about the safety and security of Indian nationals," Jaiswal added, urging that those responsible for the violence be prosecuted.
