Spain’s Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has deployed an additional 5,000 troops and 5,000 police officers to assist flood-hit Valencia, marking the largest peacetime emergency response in the country’s history. Despite 4,800 rescues and aid for 30,000 people, Sanchez admitted “this is not enough” as citizens remain trapped.
