Flooding in Spain has resulted in at least 95 fatalities. The Valencia region accounted for 92 deaths, while Castilla La Mancha reported two. A 71-year-old British national died in hospital after being rescued from his home in Alhaurin de la Torre, near Malaga. Heavy rainfall, equivalent to half a year's average, caused widespread destruction, sweeping cars through streets and damaging numerous buildings. Rescue efforts are ongoing, with authorities working to provide aid to affected areas. The disaster has inflicted significant damage and loss of life across eastern and central Spain.
