Disengagement between Indian and Chinese troops has begun along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh, following a recent agreement to end the military standoff. Temporary structures, including five tents from each side in the Demchok area, have been dismantled, along with half of the structures in Depsang. Indian soldiers are retreating to the west of the Charding Nala, while Chinese troops are moving east. The disengagement process is scheduled to be completed by October 29, with patrolling expected to resume by the end of the month. This development aims to reduce tensions along the border.
