Authorities in Odisha evacuates 10 lakh people from coastal districts as Cyclone Dana is set to make landfall tonight. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has categorized it as a severe cyclonic storm, with wind speeds potentially reaching 120 kmph. Ports in Dhamra, Paradip, and Puri have issued great danger signals, and operations have been suspended. The storm is expected to pass directly through Dhamra. Train services have been severely disrupted, with 198 trains cancelled in Odisha and 150 in Bengal. High-risk zones include Kendrapara, Bhadrak, and Balasore, while other districts brace for winds of up to 100 kmph.
