Israeli Airstrikes Target Hezbollah Intelligence Headquarters in Beirut, Senior Commanders Killed

The Israeli military launched airstrikes on Hezbollah's intelligence headquarters in Beirut's southern suburbs. The strikes, which also targeted an underground weapons workshop, killed senior Hezbollah commanders Al-Haj Abbas Salama, Rada Abbas Awada, and Ahmad Ali Hussein. Awada was a communications expert, while Hussein led a weapons manufacturing unit. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) stated that precautions were taken to minimize civilian casualties, including issuing advance warnings. The attack follows increasing tensions between Israel and Hezbollah. Dr Sabbah, in northern Gaza, urges for the siege on hospitals to end, warning of the risk of extermination in the region.
