India Seeks Extradition of Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Members from Canada Amid Diplomatic Tensions

India's Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) revealed it has sought the extradition of Lawrence Bishnoi gang members from Canada but has received no response. MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal highlighted that recent requests for provisional arrests of syndicates linked to Bishnoi have also gone unanswered. The extradition requests included names like Gurjit Singh and Lakhbir Singh Landa. Tensions escalated after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau implicated Bishnoi in the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, claiming Indian diplomats gathered information for the gang, but admitted no concrete evidence was shared with India.
