Two people were killed in a tornado that hit St Lucie County, Florida, as Hurricane Milton approached with winds of 100 mph. The tornado, which struck the Spanish Lakes Country Club community around 4:30 p.m., was one of 19 confirmed tornadoes across the state. Multiple others were injured and taken to hospitals, according to local officials. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has warned of devastating storm damage and urged residents to stay inside.
