The Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rain and thundershowers in West Bengal districts from October 5 to 9, with showers continuing during Durga Puja from October 10 to 13. Moderate rain (15.6 mm-64.4 mm) is expected before the Puja, while light rain (2.5 mm-15.5 mm) may occur during the festive days. Early pandal-hoppers and last-minute preparations could face disruptions due to frequent showers. Although the intensity of rain is expected to reduce from Saptami to Dashami, occasional rain may still affect outdoor celebrations throughout the four main days of Durga Puja.
