Tributes are pouring in for 80-year-old Bhim Kohli, an Indian-origin man who tragically died following a brutal assault in Leicester’s Franklin Park. The elderly man, a respected member of the Indian community, suffered a fatal neck injury and passed away in the hospital. Five children were initially arrested, with four released, and a 14-year-old boy remains in custody. Bhim’s widow, Santinder, laid flowers at the scene. The family described him as a loving husband, father, and grandad who adored his allotment and family dog, Rocky. Bhim was well-known in the Braunstone Indian community, where his family has lived for 40 years.
