Australia Deploys Aircraft to India for First Time in 'Tarang Shakti' Exercise

Australia has deployed combat aircraft in India for the first time to participate in Exercise 'Tarang Shakti.' The exercise, held at Air Force Station Jodhpur, runs from August 30 to September 13, with 11 nations participating, including Australia, the U.S., and Japan. Australia sent three EA-18G Growler aircraft and 120 personnel. The exercise aims to enhance cooperation and interoperability among participating nations. Air Marshal Stephen Chappell emphasized Australia’s commitment to Indo-Pacific stability and deepening defense ties with India through this joint exercise.
