Five children, including a 14-year-old boy and girl and two 12-year-olds, have been arrested in Leicester on suspicion of murdering 80-year-old Bhim Sen Kohli, an Indian-origin resident. Kohli was attacked on Sunday evening in Franklin Park, Braunstone Town, and died in hospital. The police have launched a search operation, and the attackers fled before emergency services arrived. Kohli’s friend described him as a "very good man" who was "quiet and jolly." Leicestershire Police are appealing for witnesses and have referred themselves to the Independent Office of Police Conduct.
