Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque in Brunei, where he was welcomed by Brunei’s religious affairs minister. Modi also inaugurated the new building of the Indian high commission, lighting a lamp and unveiling a plaque. He met members of the Indian community, appreciating their role in strengthening ties between India and Brunei. This visit, part of Modi’s tour of Southeast Asia, aims to enhance cooperation, particularly in space and energy. Modi’s visit is the first by an Indian Prime Minister to Brunei.
