The UK's summer is expected to end abruptly, with temperatures plunging by over 10°C next week. After reaching 30°C in parts of southern England on Sunday, areas like Wiggonholt, West Sussex, will see daytime temperatures drop to 19°C by September 11. Cambridge will experience a 14°C drop, falling to 15°C. Cooler air from the north will bring wet, windy conditions across much of the country, according to forecasters.
