Earthquake of 5.1 Magnitude Hits Bay of Bengal, Nagaland Also Shaken

A 5.1 magnitude earthquake struck the Bay of Bengal on Sunday morning, according to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS). The quake was felt in coastal areas, but no major damage or injuries have been reported. Earlier, a 3.0 magnitude earthquake was recorded in Noklak town, Nagaland, at 3:36 am. The tremor occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers. Fortunately, no casualties or significant damage were reported in either event. Authorities are monitoring the situation closely.
