Cyclone Asna Forms Over Arabian Sea, IMD Alerts Gujarat

Cyclone Asna has formed over the Arabian Sea, intensifying from a deep depression that caused severe flooding in Gujarat. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert for the Kutch region, where torrential rains have led to waterlogging in several towns, including Bhuj and Mandvi. Despite some areas remaining dry, the cyclone is expected to move west-northwestward over the next two days. Over 26 people have died due to rain-related incidents in Gujarat, with more than 18,000 displaced and around 1,200 rescued.
