Assam CM Himanta Sarma Says Bangladeshi Hindus Not Trying To Enter India

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma stated that Bangladeshi Hindus have not tried to cross into India despite the political turmoil in Bangladesh after Sheikh Hasina’s resignation. Sarma emphasized that Hindus are staying and fighting in Bangladesh, with no attempts to enter India in the past month. He mentioned that Muslim infiltrators have been arrested, seeking work in India’s textile sector. Sarma urged Prime Minister Modi to ensure the safety of Hindus in Bangladesh, where sectarian violence has affected fifty-two districts since August fifth.
