Modi clarified that "India was never neutral in this war," emphasizing, "India is on the side of peace." The leaders held detailed discussions on defense, trade, agriculture, and potential peace solutions. External Affairs Minister Jaishankar described the visit as a "landmark event," marking the first Indian Prime Minister's visit to Ukraine since its independence. "Today, we handed over cubes containing medical support equipment to Ukraine," Jaishankar added, highlighting India's delivery of twenty-two tonnes of aid as part of its ongoing humanitarian efforts.
