The US Court of Appeals has cleared the way for the extradition of Tahawwur Rana to India. Rana, a Canadian businessman, is wanted in India for his alleged involvement in 26/11 Mumbai terror attack. The court ruled that Rana's extradition is permitted under the India-US Extradition Treaty, upholding a lower court's decision. Rana had appealed against his extradition, but the court rejected his plea. India has been seeking Rana's extradition for his alleged role in the attack that killed 166 people. The extradition process will now move forward, subject to any further appeals.
