BSF Prevents Hundreds of Bangladeshis from Crossing into India During Bangladesh Crisis

The Border Security Force (BSF) stopped 500-600 Bangladeshi nationals attempting to enter India at the Jalpaiguri border in West Bengal. The individuals, claiming they were fleeing attacks in Bangladesh, were stopped due to the fully sealed border. They were later returned to Bangladesh by the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB). The situation in Bangladesh remains tense following violent protests and the resignation of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus, appointed interim leader, has called for calm and cooperation to address the ongoing crisis.
