Yunus criticized India’s dismissal of the unrest as an internal matter, stating, “If there is a fire in the brother’s house, how can I say it is an internal affair?” The protests, sparked by a controversial quota system and economic issues, have led to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s resignation.
