India and Vietnam Forge Stronger Ties with New Agreements and $300M Credit Line

India and Vietnam have deepened their strategic partnership with a series of agreements and a $300 million credit line to enhance Vietnam's maritime security. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Vietnamese PM Pham Minh Chinh signed six memorandums of understanding and finalized three additional documents during Chinh's visit to New Delhi. The new agreements cover areas such as defense, cybersecurity, and digital payment connectivity. Both leaders emphasized their commitment to a rules-based Indo-Pacific and pledged to support each other’s development goals, including India's "Developed India 2047" and Vietnam's "Vision 2045."
