Delhi witnessed record-breaking rainfall, receiving 108 mm of rain in 24 hours, the highest single-day rainfall in July in 14 years. The rain, recorded between Wednesday and Thursday, caused flooding, traffic disruptions, and seven fatalities. Safdarjung weather station reported 79.2 mm of rain between 5:30 pm and 8:30 pm. Other areas received significant rainfall, including Mayur Vihar (119 mm), Pusa (66.5 mm), and Delhi University (77.5 mm). The heavy rain has impacted daily life, with authorities working to restore normalcy.
