Three Indian-origin men in the UK have been jailed for 10 years each for kidnapping a woman in Leicester last year. Ajay Doppalapudi, Vahar Manchala and Rana Yellambai coerced the victim into their car while she was out, driving her to an isolated area where she later escaped. The prosecution said the drunk and vulnerable victim became frightened as she was taken to a secluded spot. The men were identified through CCTV footage and arrested. The police called them predators looking to take advantage of a woman. The brave victim's account was vital in ensuring justice. Two men were also charged with sexual assault and penetration.
