The city recorded 135 mm of rain in the last 24 hours, with a high tide of 4.59 meters expected. Local trains, especially at Kalyan and Thakurli stations, faced delays, forcing some commuters to walk on tracks. Three NDRF teams have been deployed, and the IMD issued a yellow alert predicting more heavy rain. Despite reassurances from railways, many commuters experienced delays.
