The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert for extremely heavy rainfall in Gujarat and Uttarakhand from July 21-24 and July 21-22, respectively. An orange alert for very heavy rainfall has been announced for Himachal Pradesh and northeastern states like Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Meghalaya. The alert covers regions including Konkan & Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, and Vidarbha. The national capital recorded a minimum temperature of 26.4°C with light rain expected. The IMD warns of heavy rainfall in various districts across India, including Himachal Pradesh and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal.
