The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has reported the safe return of 778 Indian students from Bangladesh, adding to the previous total of 220, making it 998. The Indian High Commission in Dhaka and Assistant High Commissions are facilitating the repatriation process. Currently, over 4,000 Indian students remain in Bangladesh, with the MEA providing assistance. The repatriation efforts are ongoing, with the MEA working to ensure the safe return of all Indian nationals. The students are being brought back via land ports due to the unrest in Bangladesh.
