14 Indians Rescued from Cambodia's 'Cyber Slavery' Racket Await Return to India

Fourteen Indian nationals, rescued from human trafficking rackets in Cambodia, have appealed to the Indian embassy for assistance to return home. The individuals, primarily from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, were deceived by fake job offers and forced into cyber fraud. They are currently accommodated at a local NGO. This incident is part of a larger scam affecting over 5,000 Indians in Cambodia, who were coerced into illegal online activities. The Indian government has previously repatriated around 250 nationals from Cambodia this year. Efforts are underway to facilitate the return of the rescued individuals.
