India's Elite K9 Squad Reaches Paris for Olympics Security

India’s elite dog squad, K9, has arrived in France to provide anti-sabotage security at the Paris Olympics from July 26 to August 11. This marks the first international deployment for the squad. The team, requested by the French government, includes 10 dogs: six Belgian Malinois, three German Shepherds, and one Labrador Retriever. Handlers underwent rigorous training, including learning basic French. The K9 squad will assist French police and security agencies at various venues. France is deploying 30,000 police officers daily and 18,000 military personnel for the event's security.
