The CBI has arrested Rakesh Ranjan, also known as Rocky, from Patna for leaking the NEET-UG paper. Rocky, who ran a hotel in Ranchi, arranged solvers for the exam, hiring MBBS students from Patna and Ranchi. The CBI also searched his properties in Patna and Kolkata, finding many incriminating documents. A court has granted the CBI 10-day custody of Rocky for further questioning. Rocky's arrest follows the detention of two more suspects in Patna. So far, the CBI has arrested nine people in Bihar and several others in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, and Uttarakhand related to the NEET-UG scam.
