Mihir Shah, accused in the Mumbai BMW hit-and-run case, has been sent to police custody until July 16. Shah, son of a Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde) politician, was arrested after a 72-hour manhunt. His BMW allegedly struck a two-wheeler in Worli, killing Kaveri Nakhwa (45) and injuring her husband. Police seek to recover Shah's mobile and the car’s number plate. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde announced Rs 10 lakh aid for the victim’s family and assured strict action against the guilty. Rajesh Shah, Mihir's father, has been removed from his party position.
