The CBI arrested two individuals in Bihar related to the NEET-UG paper leak. Sunny Kumar, a NEET-UG candidate, was arrested in Nalanda, and Ranjit Kumar, another candidate's father, was arrested in Gaya. So far, the CBI has arrested eight people in Bihar and Jharkhand, and one each in Latur, Godhra, and Dehradun. The NEET-UG 2024 exam, held on May 5, faced controversy due to the alleged leak. The Supreme Court has asked the NTA and Central government to submit reports on actions taken and expects a CBI status report by July 10. The next hearing is on July 11.
