Mihir Shah, Son of Shiv Sena Leader, Arrested After 3 Days for Mumbai BMW Hit-and-Run Killing Woman

Mihir Shah, the main accused in the Worli hit-and-run case, was arrested on July 9. The 24-year-old son of Shiv Sena leader Rajesh Shah had been absconding since July 7 after allegedly ramming his BMW into a scooter on Annie Besant Road, killing Kaveri Nakhwa and injuring her husband Pradip. Rajesh Shah, who allegedly conspired to shift the blame onto the driver, was also arrested but later released on bail. The BMW was found abandoned in Bandra East. Mihir faces charges under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sahita and the Motor Vehicles Act.
