Mumbai and its suburbs experienced heavy rainfall overnight, causing widespread waterlogging and disrupting transportation services. Over 300 mm of rainfall was recorded in six hours, with low-lying areas experiencing severe waterlogging. Suburban train services, including the Pune-Mumbai Deccan Queen, were cancelled or running slowly. BEST buses were diverted, and commuters faced difficulties. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) warned of more heavy rain on Monday, advising citizens to take necessary precautions. The city's transport services are expected to remain affected throughout the day.
