Early this morning in Mumbai's Worli, a speeding BMW struck a couple on a two-wheeler, resulting in the tragic death of Kaveri Nakva. The couple, returning from Sassoon Dock, was hit from behind, causing their bike to overturn. Kaveri Nakva was dragged for 100 meters by the car while her husband managed to escape. The driver fled the scene, leaving Kaveri injured. Despite efforts, she was declared dead upon arrival at the hospital. Police have detained Rajesh Shah, associated with Shiv Sena, while his son Mihir Shah remains at large, sparking an investigation into the incident.
