Two soldiers were killed and six terrorists neutralized in twin encounters in Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam district on Saturday. The first gunfight in Modergam led to the death of Lance Naik Pradeep Nain and the elimination of two terrorists. Shortly after, Havaldar Raj Kumar was killed in Frisal Chinnigam, where four terrorists were gunned down. Security forces, acting on intelligence about terrorist hideouts, engaged in intense gunfire at both locations. The operation, overseen by IGP VK Birdhi, remains ongoing to apprehend additional suspects.
