A woman from Worli, Mumbai, died after a speeding BMW hit her and her husband on a two-wheeler early this morning. They were returning from Sassoon Dock with fish when the car struck them from behind. The severe impact threw them onto the car's bonnet. The husband jumped off, but his wife was not as lucky. The BMW driver fled the scene. The woman was rushed to a hospital but was declared dead on arrival. The husband is in treatment. Police have launched an investigation into the hit-and-run incident.
