Self-styled godman Narayan Sakar Hari, also known as Bhole Baba, responded to the Hathras stampede, claiming, "The chaos erupted long after I had left the venue." In an official statement, he extended condolences, stating, "I express deep condolence to the families of the deceased and pray for the speedy recovery of the injured." Bhole Baba attributed the incident to "anti-social elements." Uttar Pradesh Police have initiated an investigation, having filed an FIR against event organizers. The tragedy claimed 121 lives during his 'satsang' in Hathras.
