A team of nine climbers from West Bengal successfully scaled the never-before-climbed Gupt Parvat in Himachal Pradesh's Pir Panjal Range. Led by Rudra Prasad Halder, the team reached the 5,988-meter summit on June 25 at 8:45 am. The mountain is known for its virtual invisibility due to its unique geographical position. Despite abandoning an attempt on Mt Shikar Beh due to an avalanche, the team refocused and achieved their goal. Notable team members included Satyarup Siddhanta and Diposree Paul. The climbers safely descended to their summit camp and are planning further descent.
