A 36-year-old woman and two girls, aged 13 and 8, drowned at Bhushi Dam in Lonavala on Sunday. A nine-year-old boy and a four-year-old girl from the same family are still missing. The family was swept away by a sudden rise in water levels at 1:30 pm. Police and rescue teams quickly arrived and recovered the three bodies. The search continues for the missing children. This tragic incident follows a similar one in April, where five students drowned in Karnataka's Cauvery River.
