For the first time in Indian military history, Lieutenant General Upendra Dwivedi and Admiral Dinesh Tripathi, who studied together at Sainik School in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, will lead the Army and Navy respectively. Both were classmates in Class 5A during the 1970s, identified by roll numbers 931 and 938.
