Four Children Among Six Dead Due to Drowning in Torrential Floods in Delhi

Six people, including four children, lost their lives due to drowning as heavy monsoon rains wreaked havoc in Delhi. In separate incidents, a 60-year-old man drowned in Okhla's flooded underpass, while two boys died in a waterlogged section near Siraspur underpass. On Friday, two boys aged 8 and 10 drowned in a five-foot-deep rainwater-filled ditch in New Usmanpur. Additionally, a man in his late 20s drowned at a flooded underpass in Shalimar Bagh. Delhi's relentless rainfall, marking the highest June single-day downpour in 88 years, has severely disrupted the city.
